Temple Tikvah will be hosting a blood drive on Jan. 9. Donors need to be between the ages of 17 and 75 and must not weight less than 110 pounds. Those over 75 must meet certain health criteria to donate and have a doctor's note. Donors should also have not donated blood within the last two months.
There will be a New York Blood Center mobile unit doing the donations.
