Late Managing Partner of New Hyde Park Inn to be Honored

Benefit event in honor of Frank "Buddy" Marino to raise money for scholarship fund.

He was by the side of thousands of brides and their families in our area. Frank “Buddy” Marino never had his own children, but he was the father of the happiest days of so many lives. From picking flowers, to helping brides decide dishes, to counseling grooms and keeping dads on their feet…the Managing Partner of the Inn at New Hyde Park was there.

Today, is absence is still felt within the community. The South Huntington resident died of pancreatic cancer on June 17 at 58 years old. Marino was Long Island born and bred. Frank attended Sewanhaka High School where he excelled in lacrosse and football. He graduated from Farleigh Dickinson University in 1977. Last year he was named a Lacrosse Hall-of-Famer.

On Thursday November 21 at 7 p.m., in memory of “Buddy,” his friends and family will host a benefit at the Inn At new Hyde Park to benefit The Frank Marino Sewanhaka High School Scholarship Fund.
