The Society of St. Vincent de Paul was recently honored by Nassau County for their continued efforts in meeting the needs of families impacted by Hurricane Sandy.

Together with members of Nassau County, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, working along with members of County Executive Mangano’s administration has been able to distribute countless coats and winter wear for men, women and children this season.

“In donating winter coats and apparel, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul was able to help us ensure that Nassau residents in need could stay warm during this cold winter season,” Mangano said in a statement.
