Fire Museum to Dedicate Truck to Fallen 9/11 Firefighters
Nassau County Firefighters Museum will offer free admission all day Wednesday in honor and remembrance of 9/11 anniversary.

The Nassau County Firefighters Museum and Education Center will unveil a new fire truck Wednesday dedicated to the 343 firefighters who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
The museum is offering free admission between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. in honor and remembrance of the 9/11 anniversary.
The day will also highlight the exhibit, “Lives of Service; Celebrating the Heroes of September 11th,” instated in 2011 for the 10-year anniversary of 9/11. Museum officials said the exhibit, which highlights 18 firefighters from Nassau County who lost their lives that day, has now become a permanent part of the museum.

The museum is located on Charles Lindbergh Boulevard on Museum Row.
