New Hyde Park Museum Project Needs You!

Join us at the New Hyde Park Village Hall at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 16 for our August Planning Meeting. Get ready to start collecting your photos for the New Hyde Park Museum.

Museum Meeting
Tuesday - August 16, 2011 at 6:00 p.m.

At the New Hyde Park Street Fair on Sept. 17, we will be launching the collection of photos, newspaper articles and, most importantly, the oral history from folks who have lived here or whose families have lived here. And we will be collecting names of people who are interested in speaking to us about their life in New Hyde Park.

Get Ready To Record Your Story

Our New Hyde Park Museum booth will be in the front of Village Hall. In Marcus Christ Hall, we will have a place where you can bring items that you would like to see in the museum and we will actually begin to collect our oral history right there. You will also be able to sign-up to participate in any of the many ways you can be involved in this project.
