Carol Eilbott Klebanow, 59, Career Counselor

Former New Hyde Park resident passed away on March 27, 2013.

Carol Eilbott Klebanow passed away on March 27, 2013 at the age of 59 at her home in Old Westbury after battling metastatic triple negative breast cancer.

She was born on July 6, 1953 to Fred and Laura Eilbott. She was a Long Island native from New Hyde Park, graduating from Tufts University in 1975 and who earned her MBA from Columbia Business School in 1977. 

She was happily married to David Klebanow for 35 years. She was the mother of Dana and Lexi and sister to Bob Eilbott.

During her long career in marketing and more recently with career counseling, Carol passionately touched the lives of many in the community.

A funeral service was held on Friday, March 29 at 11 a.m. at Temple Judea in Manhasset.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation (www.tnbcfoundation.org).
