Gerard Saccardi, a resident of Sharon Springs, NY since 1970 and previously of New Hyde Park, NY, died suddenly on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013 at his residence at the age of 81.
Born in Brooklyn on Jan. 8, 1931, he was the son of the late Thomas and Anita (Rich) Saccardi.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Albina Saccardi; four daughters, Donna Olsen of Washington, DC, Barbara Saccardi of Houston, TX, Christina Haws of Rotterdam, and Andrea Burns of Silver Springs Shores, FL; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Lappeus Funeral Home, Sharon Springs.
