Former New Hyde Park resident passed away on Jan. 3, 2013.

Jane V. Lukowski, 94, formerly of West Simsbury and New Hyde Park, passed away on Jan. 3, 2013 at St. Mary Home in West Hartford, CT.

She was Born March 8, 1918 in Jamaica, NY, she was the daughter of the late Bronislaus and Bronislawa (Ochal) and had lived in New Hyde Park prior to moving to West Simsbury 40 years ago. She was the wife of the late Albert B. Lukowski and a parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena Church in West Simsbury.

Lukowski is survived by six children and their spouses: Judith and Edward Moks, Susan Caselli and John A. Caselli, Jr., Albert L. and Coleen Lukowski, Theresa and Daniel Weimer, William A. Lukowski and Kathleen Kane and Joseph B. Lukowski; eight grandchildren, Stephanie, Laura, Justine, Christopher, John, Michael, Dylan and Adam; and six great-grandchildren, Mina, Charlie, Declan, Keira, George and Harry.

A funeral Mass of Christian Burial was held on Jan. 8, 2013 at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 265 Stratton Brook Road, West Simsbury with burial immediately following at Simsbury Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Catherine of Siena Church, 265 Stratton Brook Road, West Simsbury, CT 06092.
