Joan Elder of New Hyde Park passed away on Jan. 20, 2013.
She was the mother of Kevin Elder, Eric Elder, and Barbara Garwood; grandmother of Zoe; sister of Howard Walsh.
A wake was held at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Bethpage Funeral Home. A funeral Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. James R.C. ChurchSeaford on Jan. 24 with interment at St. John’s Cemetery, Middle Village, Queens.
