Mabel E. Lempicky, 98, A&P Comptometer Operator

Former New Hyde Park residnet passed away on Feb. 2, 2013.

Mabel E. Lempicky, 98, passed away on the morning of Feb. 2, 2013 at Mountain View Care Center, Scranton, PA. She was the widow of Henry S. Lempicky who died in 1990.

Born Oct. 18, 1914, she was the daughter of the late King and Anna Wilkinson.

Prior to retirement, she was employed as a comptometer operator at the A & P main office in Garden City, NY. Mabel resided for most of her life in New Hyde Park, NY and Spring Hill, FL. She was a Past Matron of Anchor Chapter No. 607, Order of the Eastern Star in New York.

Surviving are her son, Henry Lempicky of Dalton, daughter, Dian May Barberich, Jessup, sister Grace O’Conner, 4 grandchildren: Brenda and Scott Barberich and Stephen and Vanessa Lempicky.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, David and William Wilkinson.
