New Hyde Park resident passed away on Nov. 26, 2013.
Madeline C. Scharf passed away on Nov. 26, 2013 at the age of 92. She was born on May 20, 1921.
A resident of New Hyde Park, NY, she was the beloved wife of the late Edward; loving mother of James, Barbara and Michael; cherished grandmother of 8 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 2 great-grandchildren. She was a devoted parishioner of Holy Spirit R.C. Church.
A wake will be held on Friday, Nov. 29, from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the New Hyde Park Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Nov. 30 at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Spirit R.C. Church with interment at Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury, NY.
