Noreen Hendry passed away on Jan. 4, 2013. She lived in both New Hyde Park, NY & Co. Kerry, Ireland.
Born on Sept. 1, 1939, Hendry was the loving wife of the late Brian; mom of James (Anne), Kathleen Fitzgerald (Dan), Brian (Ann Marie), and Patrick (Patricia); grandma of Danny, Siobhan, Erin, Grace, Jack, Michaela, Brian, Kiernan, Eamon, Emma, and Owen John; sister of Margaret, Anne, Catherine, Josephine, Christina, Rose, Jim and the late Eileen, Mary and Michael.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations be made in Noreen’s name to St. Francis Hospital Foundation, C/O Office of Development, 100 Port Washington Boulevard, Roslyn, NY 11576.
Friends may visit Sunday 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Monday 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the New Hyde Park Funeral Home A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday 9:15 a.m. at Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church, with interment to follow at Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury.
