Rita Kaplan of Garden City Park passed away on Feb. 25, 2013. She was born on Oct. 10, 1934.
She was the wife of Victor for over 58 years; mother of Gerard Kaplan and Laura Parrella (Anthony); grandmother of Amanda; sister of Mary Patricia Sharp.
She will be sorely missed by many other loving family members and cherished friends.
A wake will be held on Thursday, Feb. 28 from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the New Hyde Park Funeral Home.
A religious service will be held on Thursday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
