Sanseviero Vincenzo of New Hyde Park NY passed away on June 22, 2013 at the age of 83. He was born in Italy on May 5, 1930.
He was the beloved husband of Mirella; father of Emilio (Pamela), Giovanni & Geraldine; grandfather of Nina & Nicolo. He is also survived by many dear family & friends in Italy.
Vincenzo was a renaissance man and an opera singer of the Bel Canto Era. His generosity was well-known in the community and most of all at the dinner table.
A visitation will take place at the Weigand Bros. Funeral Home at 49 Hillside Ave. in Williston Park, NY Tuesday, June 25 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday morning at Notre Dame Church in New Hyde Park with entombment to follow at Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury.
