Ra Honors PTSA Members

Assemblyman Ed Ra presenting a proclamation to members of the H. Frank Carey PTSA.

I recently met with several members of the H. Frank Carey High School PTSA and presented them an official proclamation in honor of their outstanding work over the past year. Each individual member of the PTSA also received an official citation commending their hard work.

Part of creating a vibrant school community is having an active and engaged PTSA. The members of the H. Frank Carey High School PTSA have gone above and beyond in ensuring that their school is afforded with the attention and activities it needs for our children to succeed. It was an honor to present them with a proclamation in honor of their great work in the past year and I expect them to continue doing great things for the children at the H. Frank Carey High School, part of the Sewanhaka Central High School District.

The board members of the H. Frank Carey PTSA who received honors is as follows:

  • Co-Presidents Ann Roerden and Mary Samson
  • 1st Vice President Vicki Gioia
  • 2nd Vice President Liz Brusca
  • 3rd Vice President Susanne Roselli
  • 4th Vice President Joanne Lisi
  • Treasure Cheryl Scarry
  • Corresponding Secretary Denise Morfesi
  • Recording Secretary Anne Brusca
  • Historian Lynn Stollberger
  • Delegates to Central Council Linda Kaminski, Jane Chan, Veronica Goldberg
  • Parlimentarian Rita Cona

Assemblyman Edward Ra is a member of the New York State Assembly representing the 21st District. Due to 2012 redistricting, the new 19th District will cover portions of New Hyde Park, Garden City Park and Mineola. He is a Republican from Franklin Square.
