The annual Cellini Lodge Italian Fest kicked off Wednesday night at Michael J. Tully Park, drawing the usual throngs of people and visitors from around the New Hyde Park area.

In addition to the staples such as rides, , pastries and games, there will be a variety of musical entertainment across the festival, including Gianni Monti Sound, the Generators, Risky Business, Don Felice and a KJOY spectacular on Sunday night. There will also be a fireworks spectacular on Saturday night.
