Arrests For Driving While Intoxicated on New Year's Eve

There were 40 arrests in Nassau County for driving while intoxicated New Year's Eve.

The Nassau County Police Department arrested 40 people for driving while intoxicated between Dec. 31 at 9 p.m. and Jan. 3 at 8 a.m., according to a press release from Nassau County Police Commissioner and Nassau County Executive . Twenty-seven of these arrests were between the hours of 9 p.m. on Dec. 31 and 7 a.m. on Jan. 1, the release said.

Over the holidays, offered to shuttle patrons and there were that were arranged by Nassau County.
