The Nassau County Police Department arrested 40 people for driving while intoxicated between Dec. 31 at 9 p.m. and Jan. 3 at 8 a.m., according to a press release from Nassau County Police Commissioner and Nassau County Executive . Twenty-seven of these arrests were between the hours of 9 p.m. on Dec. 31 and 7 a.m. on Jan. 1, the release said.
Over the holidays, offered to shuttle patrons and there were that were arranged by Nassau County.
