Attempted Home Invasion Failed on Falmouth Avenue
Police report attempted burglary on Wednesday morning in New Hyde Park.
An attempted home invasion robbery took place in the early a.m. hours Wednesday on Falmouth Avenue in New Hyde Park.
According to police, a person entered a residence at 1503 Falmouth Ave. at 12:52 a.m. through an open door. The activity woke up the homeowner, who screamed, frightening the thief, who fled with no proceeds.
Officers from the set up a search perimeter, but no suspects were found. There is no description of the person from the homeowner.
