Cops Investigating Robbery at New Hyde Park Store

Nassau Police are investigating a robbery that took place at a New Hyde Park store on Sunday night.

Detectives say a man entered the Grab & Go at 272-08 Union Turnpike and demanded cash from the register at 11:01 p.m. The man threatened the clerk with a weapon but did not display one. The victim complied giving the suspect an undetermined amount of cash. 

The suspect fled heading south on Lakeville Road, police said.

He is described as white and 30-35 years old. No other details were immediately available.

There were two employees in the store at the time of the incident.  No injuries were reported, police said.
