Cops: Man Tried to Sell Stolen Cablevision Equipment

Wifi devices that fell off Cablevision truck on LIE were stolen and sold in Lake Success by Bryan Urbano, cops said.

A Queens man faces larceny charges after he tried to sell stolen Cablevision equipment in Lake Success, Nassau County Police said.

According to detectives, Bryan Urbano, 21, of Jamaica, was seen selling Cisco wifi transmitters that had fallen off the back of a Cablevision truck on the Long Island Expressway.

A subcontractor for Cablevision was driving west on the LIE near Exit 41 in Jericho when 24 Cisco Outdoor Mesh Access Point Wifi Transmitters fell off of the truck, cops said. Urbano reportedly stopped his car and picked up an unknown amount of the transmitters from the road and drove away, police reported.
