Crime Blotter: A Series of Burglaries in New Hyde Park

Items have gone missing recently near LA Fitness and T-Mobile.

Here are some incidents of alleged burglary that happened in the first few weeks of November according to the .

Nov. 8: There were two instances of alleged theft at the in New Hyde Park. At about 6:45 a.m. on Nov. 8 an iPad was reported missing from a locker. The person who used that locker claims it was locked even after they returned.

On that same morning, at some time between 9:25 a.m. and 10:15 a.m., a GPS, $4 and a cell phone were allegedly taken from a Ford.

Nov. 18: There was an alleged burglary at the T-Mobile store at 3363 Hillside Avenue. Someone went into the store saying that he needed a new cell phone. A store clerk was pulling up the man's account on a computer when the man said that he had a gun and that the clerk should give him all the money the store had. An unknown amount of amount was given to the man and when the clerk tried to hit the panic button, he was struck in the head and fell to the ground.
