There was a burglary on Sylvia Lane on Monday at about noon involving two burglars pretending to do work on a nearby house, according to a report from the .
During the robbery, an 87-year-old woman in her home was approached by a 20-year-old man who said he was working on the neighbor's fence. The man wanted to explain what kind of work he would be doing in the yard and a second person went into the house while this was going on and took an unspecified amount of jewelry.
