The following arrest information was supplied by several local police departments. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate convictions.

Garden City

• Garden City officers helped U.S. marshals and the Suffolk County Police Department in apprehending and arresting a 26-year-old Kings Park man for a that occurred in Brentwood on June 5.

• Police conducted a routine truck inspection on June 23, issued 61 tickets for various traffic and safety violations and took two trucks out of service.

Valley Stream

• Three businesses in Valley Stream were burglarized last week. The incidents occurred at Sal & Vin's Barber on Rockaway Avenue June 23, and at Goldies Restaurant and Stationary Store, both on Dubois Avenue, on June 27.

Glen Cove

• A Glen Cove garage owner was arrested on Thursday and charged with stealing over $250,000 in cars and cash. Joseph Simeone, 71, of Torrington, Conn. – owner of Simeone Classic Cars in Glen Cove – faces up to 15 years for second degree grand larceny after he allegedly stole three 1930's-era cars from a customer, sold them and kept the profits, said Nassau County District Attorney Kathleen Rice.

Lynbrook

• Victor Tosner was arrested on charges of harassing priests and parishioners at  Our Lady of Peace Church in Lynbrook.
