An employee of the in Mineola was on the morning of March 4. The victim told police that he was cleaning the store when two males armed with handguns entered the rear door, tied him up and took cash from his pocket.

A fire broke out at a home at 154 Memphis Ave. on March 3 at about 8:09 a.m. 

Police are investigating a report where an 8-year-old child states that while standing on the sidewalk at Wyatt and Westbury roads, a white vehicle stopped next to him. The youth stated the driver, an older woman, motioned for him to come to the vehicle. When the youth did not move closer, the driver, alone in the vehicle, held up an orange cat for a couple of seconds and then drove away.

Officers rescued a distraught male who was attempting to throw himself in front of moving vehicles on Clinton Road on March 4. The officers transported the subject to a local hospital for treatment.

Williston Park

A Nassau County Police Car was involved in a motor vehicle accident on Hillside Avenue and Park Avenue on March 7 at about 3:26 p.m. There was no request for aid nor any injured reported.

Albertson

Emergency service personnel responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident at Willis Avenue and Arleigh Drive on March 3 at 9:43 a.m. Police reported that there was no pin and pone person was injured.

Roslyn Heights

A car hit a pole at Willis Avenue and Powerhouse Road on March 3 at about 12:20 p.m., knocking the pole down and wires. LIPA was notified. Any injuries were unknown.

Hicksville

A vehicle overturned on Duffy Avenue and Charlotte Avenue on March 7 at approximately 12:23 a.m. Two people were aided by the Hicksville Fire Department ambulance and Nassau County Police Department. Hazmat units cleaned up a related spill.
