Garden City Park Fire Blotter: Car Rollover, Pedestrian Hit and Basement Smoke

Garden City Park firefighters responded to the following calls September 29 – October 5.

The following information was supplied by the Garden City Park Fire Department. A call does not necessarily indicate that a fire actually took place, only that an alarm or call for assistance was made. 

September 30

  • 3:20 p.m. – 142 Laurel Drive – ambulance requested for male with back injury
  • 4:45 p.m. – 131 Robby Lane – smoke in basement/ first floor

October 1

  • 6:17 a.m. – 208 Aster Drive – victim difficulty breathing
  • 11:06 a.m.  – 11 Brookfield Road
  • 4:49 p.m. – 418 Hillside Ave. – alarm sounding in shopping center
  • 10:08 p.m. – Shelter Rock Road and Old Courthouse Road – car rolled over onto its side. All occupants were able to extract themselves.

October 3

  • 12:38 p.m. – Marcus Avenue and Betty Road – pedestrian struck
  • 1:45 p.m. – 23 Fifth Ave. – fall victim with injuries

October 4: 8:33 a.m. – 31 Fulton Ave. – sick male

October 5: 9:36 a.m. – 57 Sixth St. – sick male with bleeding
