Garden City Park firefighters responded to the following calls November 3 – 9.

The following information was supplied by the Garden City Park Fire Department. A call does not necessarily indicate that a fire actually took place, only that an alarm or call for assistance was made.

November 3

  • 6:10 a.m. – 64 Shelborne Lane – carbon monoxide
  • 10:40 a.m. – 101 Herricks Road
  • 11:28 a.m. – 350 Hillside Drive – female fall victim
  • 11:54 a.m. – 99 Shrub Hollow Road, Roslyn
  • 1:44 p.m. – 28 Heywood St. – carbon monoxide
  • 2:40 p.m. – 32 Scott St. – ambulance requested for sick male
  • 2:46 p.m. – 157 Firestone Circle, Roslyn – gas emergency
  • 7:14 p.m. – 11 Stanwood Road
  • 8:03 p.m. – 77 Schumacher Drive – carbon monoxide 

November 4

  • 1:46 a.m. – 77 Schumacher Drive – carbon monoxide
  • 4:48 a.m. – 192 Park Ave. – blood clot in leg
  • 9:07 a.m. – 25 Stanwood Road – carbon monoxide
  • 2:09 p.m. – 10 Old Homestead Way
  • 6:24 p.m. – 36 Elm Drive – carbon monoxide
  • 9:27 p.m. – 17 Third Ave. – odor from stove
  • 10:49 p.m. – 46 Lake Drive – house fire

November 5

  • 3:32 p.m. – 245 Hillside Ave. – motor vehicle accident, one ambulance requested to scene
  • 6:03 p.m. – 230 Devonshire Drive – carbon monoxide
  • 6:10 p.m. – 18 Park West – downed wire burning on pole
  • 6:22 p.m. – 15 James St. – smoke in computer room
  • 10:20 p.m. – Denton Avenue and Hillside Avenue – brush fire 

November 6

  • 12:03 p.m. – 106 Elm Lane – downed wire sparking
  • 12:32 p.m. – 36 Mable Drive – alarm sounding
  • 1:13 p.m. – 330 Old Courthouse Road – carbon monoxide
  • 1:53 p.m. – Marcus Avenue and Herricks Court – ambulance requested
  • 2:15 p.m. – 1074 Maple Lane – downed wire
  • 5:00 p.m. – 145 Birch Drive – carbon monoxide
  • 9:13 p.m. – 42 Birchwood Drive – carbon monoxide

November 7

  • 12:17 p.m. – 29 Crest Road – ambulance requested for sick male
  • 2:01 p.m. – 1050 Denton Ave. – downed wires sparking
  • 5:24 p.m. – 47 Fifth Ave. – wires burning against house
  • 5:33 p.m. – Shelter Rock Road and Moore Street – transformer
  • 5:41 p.m. – 110 Lake Drive – downed wires
  • 5:53 p.m. – 430 Old Courthouse Road – downed wires
  • 6:12 p.m. – 47 Reed Drive – ambulance requested

  • 3:16 a.m. – 350 Baltustrol Circle – carbon monoxide

  • 8:20 a.m. – 173 Doran Court – carbon monoxide
  • 8:43 a.m. – 139 Shelter Rock Road – downed wires burning
  • 9:09 a.m. – 138 Betty Road – tree on house
  • 9:27 a.m. – 38 Park West
  • 10:00 a.m. – 42 Elm Drive – ambulance requested for collapsed female
  • 10:02 a.m. – 66 Dennis St. downed wires sparking on a car
