The following information was supplied by the Garden City Park Fire Department. A call does not necessarily indicate that a fire actually took place, only that an alarm or call for assistance was made.

December 1

  • 11:12 a.m. – 153 Lawrence St. – carbon monoxide alarm
  • 4:49 p.m. – 45 Schumacher Drive
  • 11:24 p.m. – 29 Elm Drive – ambulance requested for stroke victim

  • 9:25 a.m. – 11 Monterey Drive, Manhasset Hills – carbon monoxide alarm
  • 3:52 p.m. – 12 Broadway – ambulance requested for broken wrist due to football injury

December 3

  • 4:09 a.m. – 208 Aster Drive – ambulance requested for man down in bathroom
  • 4:56 a.m. – 146 Aster Drive – ambulance requested for female who cannot walk
  • 2:56 p.m. – 58 Daley St. – alarm sounding in basement

  • 6:23 p.m. – 1 Norton Ave. – ambulance requested for sick male

  • 7:32 a.m. – 1 Norton Ave. – ambulance requested for female with dislocated hip
  • 5:39 p.m. – 18 Tenafly Drive – downed wires sparking in road
  • 6:00 p.m. – 235 Nassau Blvd. – ambulance requested for sick male
  • 6:15 p.m. – 202 Devonshire Drive – downed wire

December 6: 2:48 p.m. – 64 Marcus Ave. – car crashed into tree with car smoking

December 7

  • 3:26 p.m. – 96 Lipton Lane – ambulance requested for male unable to walk
  • 10:00 p.m. – 173 Strattford Road – unknown odor inside home
