Garden City Park firefighters responded to the following calls December 15 – 21.

The following information was supplied by the Garden City Park Fire Department. A call does not necessarily indicate that a fire actually took place, only that an alarm or call for assistance was made.

December 16

  • 9:06 a.m. – 96 Lipton Lane, Williston Park – ambulance requested for incoherent male
  • 6:10 p.m. – 30 Camden Place – carbon monoxide alarm
  • 7:56 p.m. – 131 Rhodes Drive – investigation of smell of gasoline inside residence 

December 17

  • 11:11 a.m. – 44 Oxford St. – carbon monoxide alarm
  • 12:13 p.m. – 102 Old Farm Road
  • 4:57 p.m. – 3350 Hillside Ave.
  • 7:09 p.m. – Herricks Road and Wilson Blvd. – motor vehicle accident
  • 7:19 p.m. – 2196 Jericho Turnpike – carbon monoxide alarm 

December 19

  • 12:03 a.m. – 434 Links Drive, Roslyn
  • 3:10 a.m. – 28 James St. – ambulance requested for female passing out
  • 9:15 a.m. – 1801 Evergreen Ave. (Tully Park)
  • 2:29 p.m. – 433 Links Drive, Roslyn – contractor hit gas line
  • 7:35 p.m. – 71 Mayflower Ave., Williston Park – ambulance requested

December 20

  • 5:17 p.m. – 105 Primrose Drive – ambulance requested for female with chest pains
  • 6:54 p.m.  – 119 South Drive – stove fire
  • 10:47 p.m. – 500 Denton Ave. – ambulance requested for person vomiting

December 21

  • 1:10 a.m. – 51 North Drive – carbon monoxide alarm
  • 5:58 a.m. – 90 Schumacher Drive – downed wire
  • 9:28 a.m. –135 Old Courthouse Road – smoke detected
  • 9:56 a.m. – 43 Morris Drive – downed wires
  • 11:31 a.m. – 50 Birchwood Drive – downed wire sparking on the side of the house
  • 11:48 a.m. – Lakeville Road and White Avenue – motor vehicle accident
  • 12:15 p.m. – 43 Morris Drive – downed wires sparking
  • 5:22 p.m. – Jericho Turnpike and Third Avenue – motor vehicle accident
  • 6:22 p.m. – 155 Searingtown Road, Albertson – ambulance requested for confused male
