Garden City Park Fire Blotter: Unconscious Victim, Car Accident and Carbon Dioxide

Garden City Park firefighters responded to the following calls September 22 – 28.

The following information was supplied by the Garden City Park Fire Department. A call does not necessarily indicate that a fire actually took place, only that an alarm or call for assistance was made. 

September 23

  • 10:55 a.m. – New Hyde Park Road and Aberdeen Road – ambulance requested
  • 7:33 p.m. – 4 Knolls Drive 

September 24

  • 12:26 a.m. – 88 Windsor Gate Drive – ambulance requested for sick female
  • 4:26 p.m. – 500 Denton Ave. – ambulance requested for female victim who fell in front of building

September 25

  • 3:01 a.m. – 2264 Jericho Turnpike
  • 8:16 p.m. – 18 Rhodes Drive – carbon dioxide alarm

September 26

  • 1:43 p.m. – 411 Links Drive – unconscious female
  • 2:55 p.m. – 116 Hamilton Drive
  • 3:41 p.m. – 2310 Jericho Turnpike
  • 8:10 p.m. – 77 Schumacher Drive

September 27

  • 7:20 a.m. – 19 Birchwood Drive
  • 9:31 a.m. – 29 Yorkshire Drive – back injury
  • 1:57 p.m. – 432 Hillside Ave. (Toast and Jamz)
  • 6:13 p.m. – Jericho Turnpike and Second Avenue – car accident 

September 28

  • 5:09 a.m. – 81 Yorkshire Road
  • 1:07 p.m. – 71 First St. – smoke on second floor
  • 1:08 p.m. – 19 East St.
  • 6:56 p.m. – 2351 Jericho Turnpike – kitchen above ceiling and drive-thru
  • 10:17 p.m. – 43 Grattan St. – ambulance requested for disoriented male
