Garden City Park firefighters responded to the following calls October 13-19.

The following information was supplied by the Garden City Park Fire Department. A call does not necessarily indicate that a fire actually took place, only that an alarm or call for assistance was made.

October 13

  • 3:44 a.m. – 117 I U Willets Road – overturned vehicle with live wires down
  • 12:41 p.m. – 2264 Jericho Turnpike
  • 12:54 p.m. – 10 Stanwood Road
  • 1:20 p.m. – 103 Old Stewart Ave. – smoke on first floor
  • 2:47 p.m. – 103 Mayflower Ave.
  • 6:06 p.m. – 28 Gordon Drive – odor, carbon dioxide alarm activated
  • 6:43 p.m. – 66 Second St.
  • 11:06 p.m. – 100 Shelter Rock Road

October 14: 3:19 p.m. – 40 Second St. – ambulance requested for 76-year old unconscious female

  • 7:09 p.m. – 47 Reed Drive – ambulance requested
  • 7:36 p.m. – 1 Shelter Road
  • 8:27 p.m. – 48 Jeffrey Place – ambulance requested for victim with low sugar levels

October 16

  • 11:19 a.m. – Jericho Turnpike and Marcus Avenue – motor vehicle accident
  • 3:25 p.m. – 165 Moore St. – ambulance requested for unresponsive male victim

October 17

  • 7:43 a.m. – 83 Laurel Drive – carbon dioxide alarm
  • 9:44 a.m. – 10 Armstrong Road – carbon dioxide alarm
  • 11:52 a.m. – 205 Park Ave. – ambulance requested for sick female
  • 6:35 p.m. – 3350 Hillside Ave.
  • 7:16 p.m. – 155 Searingtown Road – unconscious female 

October 18

  • 8:22 a.m. – 214 Augusta Drive – ambulance requested for victim difficulty breathing
  • 2:17 p.m. – 35 Oxford St. – ambulance requested for victim difficulty breathing
  • 8:54 p.m. – 7 Majestic Court  – smoke on second floor

October 19: 3:00 p.m. – 131 Country Village Lane – ambulance for dehydrated and unresponsive victim
