Herricks Cell Phone Store Robbed

Nassau County Police are searching for a masked thief dressed completely in black who robbed a T-Mobile store this past Friday night on Hillside Avenue.

According to police, the unarmed thief entered the store at 3363 Hillside Ave. just before 8 p.m., forcing an employee into a rear room to fill a bag with an unknown amount of cash and cell phones.

The thief then reportedly used the employee’s car to make his getaway – with the employee still in the vehicle – driving for several blocks before getting out and fleeing on foot with the cash and cell phones.

The employee was not injured.
