Hillside Avenue BP Gas Station Robbed Friday Morning

Two men robbed New Hyde Park gas station in early morning hours Friday.

Nassau County Police are investigating a robbery that occurred on Friday, Nov. 29, at 5:25 a.m. at the BP Gas Station in New Hyde Park.

According to detectives, a 31-year old male employee was working inside the BP Gas Station at 200 Hillside Ave. when an unknown male subject entered the store and asked to buy a cigar. The subject pretended not to have money and exited the store.

A short time later a second male subject (no further description) entered the store displayed a black handgun and demanded money. The first suspect remained outside. The victim compiled and both subjects fled the scene on foot westbound through the parking lot. Proceeds were an undetermined amount of cash. There were no reported injuries.
