LA Fitness Larceny Situation Improving

POP Officer Nick Mosesso has noticed that there have been fewer larcenies lately.

The situation at , which has had numerous incidents of grand larceny and petit larceny this year, seems to be turning around.

From March 1 through now, at LA Fitness there were 34 grand larcenies and 27 petit larcenies, POP Officer Nick Mosesso said at the Lakeville Civic Association meeting. He noted that in about the last month the fitness facility has installed a security guard in the men's locker room and they've put in cameras in the parking lot and gym. Lately Mosesso has not seen a report of property stolen inside the gym.

"At any time anyone in this community were to look up statistics on this post, which is 303, they're through the roof for the most part but they don't reflect what's going on in the residential area," Mosesso said.
