Natural Gas Exposure in Garden City Park
Six people were taken to local hospitals as a result of this incident.
Eleven people were exposed to natural gas on New Year's Eve in Garden City Park, according to a police report.
The incident, which happened at 12:40 a.m., occurred at a deli below apartments at 2246 Jericho Turnpike, the report noted. Five people complained of nausea and were taken to local hospitals by the Garden City Park Fire Department, according to the report. Another six refused treatment at the scene, the report said.
