New Hyde Park 7-Eleven Robbed Early Friday Morning

Suspect made off with unknown amount of cash.

Nassau County Police are searching for an individual who robbed the 7-Eleven convenience store on Hillside Avenue in New Hyde Park early Friday morning.

According to detectives, at about 3:25 a.m. Friday morning, a 28 year old male worker at the 7-Eleven at 1599 Hillside Ave. observed a while male white with a white T-shirt covering his face state that he had a gun and demanded cash.

The subject then took an undetermined amount of cash from the register and fled the store on foot north through the rear parking lot.

The thief is described as being 5’9” tall, medium build, olive green shorts, black T-shirt with gold stripe and wore flip flops. No weapons were displayed. No injuries were reported.
