New Hyde Park Crime Blotter: Handbags, Groceries and Coffee Machine Stolen
Third Precinct police responded to the following calls September 3 – 9 in New Hyde Park.
The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department Third Precinct. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.
New Hyde Park
Sept. 5
- Approximately 35 'Bling' t-shirts were stolen from 1450 Union Turnpike in North New Hyde Park.
- Cigarettes and beer were stolen from a store on Hillside Avenue in North New Hyde Park.
- Assorted groceries were stolen from Stop & Shop at 653 Hillside Ave.
Sept. 6: assorted Michael Kors handbags were stolen from a store at 1550 Union Turnpike in North New Hyde Park.
Garden City Park
Sept. 5: an undetermined amount of cash was stolen from a business on Jericho Turnpike.
Sept. 9: a water cooler and coffee machine was stolen from a location at County Courthouse Road and Dyckman Avenue.
Herricks
Sept. 5: a Capital One debit card was stolen from a home on Sycamore Drive.
