New Hyde Park Crime Blotter: Stolen Jewelry, Backpack and Pocketbook
Third Precinct police responded to the following calls October 22 – 28 in New Hyde Park.
The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department Third Precinct. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.
New Hyde Park
Oct. 16: assorted jewelry was stolen from a home on Crest Road in North New Hyde Park between 8 a.m. on Oct. 16 and 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 26.
Oct. 23: a white Tommy Hilfiger jacket, shirt and an amount of money was stolen from 1111 Marcus Ave. in North New Hyde Park between 6 p.m. and 7:20 p.m.
Oct. 25: a wallet, credit cards, gym bag and DVDs were stolen from a location on Jericho Turnpike between 6:10 p.m. and 8:20 p.m.
Oct. 25: a pocketbook was stolen on Jericho Turnpike between 6:25 p.m. and 7:35 p.m.
Garden City Park
Oct. 23: a North Face backpack, clothes, gift cards and credit cards were reported stolen between 8 p.m. on Oct. 23 and 7 a.m. on Oct. 24 on Carling Drive.
