New Hyde Park Crime Blotter: Stolen License Plates, Mountain Bike and Tent
Third Precinct police responded to the following calls October 1 – 7 in New Hyde Park.
The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department Third Precinct. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.
New Hyde Park
Sept. 10: An unknown amount of money was reported stolen from a home at 535 North 10th St. at 5 p.m.
Sept. 20: A tent was stolen from 4 Beechwood Lane.
Oct. 3: The front glass window of a home at 25 Mayfair Road in North New Hyde Park was broken between 9 a.m. on Oct. 3 and 7 a.m. on Oct. 4.
Oct. 3: New York State License plates were stolen from a car at 3 Stanley Lane at 10:15 a.m.
Oct. 4: A mountain bicycle was reported stolen from Michael J. Tully Park at 1801 Evergreen Ave. between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.
Oct. 6: A white and pink polkadot suitcase containing a wallet with credit cards, face paint, an iPod dock, keys and a GPS was reported stolen at 1111 Marcus Ave. in North New Hyde Park between 2:20 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Oct. 3: An unknown amount of money was reported stolen from a location at 2458 Jericho Turnpike at 3:20 a.m.
Oct. 3: Assorted store merchandise was reported stolen from a store at 1400 Union Turnpike at 3:20 p.m.
Garden City Park
Oct. 4: A kitchen window was broken at 2204 Hillside Ave. at 3:05 a.m.
