Robert Picciano was recently honored for his 50 years of dedicated service to the New Hyde Park Fire Department and the Rescue Fire Company.
The men and women of the department recognized ex-Chief Picciano for his leadership as chief, his dedication to the well-being of the members of the department and his commitment to protecting the health and safety of the residents.
Picciano is currently very active with the New Hyde Park Fire Department, answering alarms, working on several committees and sharing his stories with newer members of the department.
