Pedestrians Struck on Marcus Avenue in New Hyde Park

One pedestrian reportedly taken to hospital for treatment of injuries.

Nassau County Police have confirmed reports of a pair of pedestrians being struck by a car on Marcus Avenue in New Hyde Park on Tuesday afternoon.

According to police, the incident occurred at around 4:20 p.m.

One of the pedestrians was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries sustained.

No further details about the accident or its cause were available.
