Robbery and Assault at Pathmark

A woman was hurt while someone allegedly stole her wallet.

There was a robbery that injured a 54-year-old woman at in North New Hyde Park on March 24 at 6:40 p.m.

A man described as about 50-years-old, between 5-foot-10-inches and six-feet tall with a thin mustache and glasses took the woman’s wallet from her purse in an unattended shopping cart, according to a report from the . When the woman confronted the man about it, she was shoved into a display rack and fell on the floor, the report said. The woman said she experienced pain in her head, shoulder, chest and knee, the report noted.
