Rose Lane Home in New Hyde Park Burglarized

Thief reportedly broke in Thursday night before fleeing without any items.

Nassau County Police are asking for assistance in catching a burglar who broke into a home on Rose Lane in New Hyde Park Thursday morning.

According to detectives, a thief had broken into the home at about 7:45 p.m., entering through the rear living room window that had been pried open. The 50-year old female homeowner was sleeping in her bedroom at the time but awoke to see the burglar – described only as male – flee from the home, exiting through the same rear living room window.

There were no injuries or loss of proceeds reported at this time.
