Nassau County Police are investigating a robbery and assault on two 25-year olds that occurred early Friday morning near the New Hyde Park LIRR station.
According to detectives, at 3:55 a.m. on Nov. 1, after exiting a LIRR train from and walking towards the taxi cab stand at South 12th Street, two 25 year old victims, male and female, were followed by a group made up of five white men and one white woman who began to verbally insult the victims.
