Birnbaum Wins 10th Legislative District Race
Earns term with 58 percent of the vote.
Ellen Birnbaum, D-Great Neck, won the race to represent the 10th Legislative District on Tuesday, taking 64 percent of the vote.
According to the Nassau County Board of Elections, Birnbaum tallied 7,947 votes while her Republican challenger, Jane Centrella’s, earned 4,520 votes.
Birnbaum currently serves as the director of the office of intermunicipal coordination for the Town of North Hempstead.
