With foreclosure filings in Nassau County being among the highest in New York State, the Nassau County Bar Association is offering a free clinic to counsel residents about foreclosures on Monday, Jan. 20.
This event will take place at the Nassau County Bar Association headquarters in Mineola from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. that day. During this time, people can get one-on-one guidance.
Reservations are required and can be made by calling the Bar Association at 516-747-4070. Attendees must bring their mortgage documents to the event. Spanish-speaking and Creole-speaking attorneys and housing counselors will be on hand as well.
