New Hyde Park to Update Village Signage
New village hall sign, Marcus Christ Hall awning to be installed.
The Village of New Hyde Park will be getting several new signs at the village hall shortly, most prominently a new sign for the front of village hall, which was installed on Sept. 21 in time for the New Hyde Park street fair.
The village will also soon replace the awning at the entrance to Marcus Christ Hall as well as some of the signage above the main door to the village hall.
“Partly because of the storm and some other things, other weather conditions, parts of that signage has eroded away and disappeared,” mayor Robert Lofaro said during the regular meeting of the village board on Sept. 17 at the village hall.
