New Hyde Park Trash Collection Schedule for Christmas 2012

New Hyde Park village offices will be closed at noon on Monday, Dec. 24 and all day on Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012 in observance of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

The holiday collection schedule for this week is as follows:

• No garbage collection on the North Side or South Side on Christmas Day, Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012
• Garbage for the South Side, newspaper collection for the North Side and recyclables for the entire village will be collected on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012.

Residents and businesses are reminded to kindly respect others and do not place refuse on the street for pickup over the holiday weekend.
