New Hyde Park will be closed on Monday, Sept., 3, 2012 in observance of Labor Day.
The holiday collection schedule for this week is as follows:
- No garbage collection on the North Side on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 3, 2012.
- Garbage for the entire village and newspapers for the North Side will be collected on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012.
Residents and businesses are reminded to kindly respect others and do not place refuse on the street for pickup over the holiday weekend.
