New Hyde Park village offices will be closed at noon on Monday, Dec. 31 and all day on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2011 in observance of New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
The holiday collection schedule for this week is as follows:
- No garbage collection on the South Side and no newspaper collection on the North Side on New Year’s Day, Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013.
- Garbage for the South Side, newspaper collection for the North Side and recyclables for the entire village will be collected on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013.
Residents and businesses are reminded to kindly respect others and do not place refuse on the street for pickup over the holiday weekend.
