New Hyde Park village offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 22 and Friday, Nov. 23, 2012 in observance of Thanksgiving.
The holiday collection schedule for this week is as follows:
- No garbage collection on the North Side on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday Nov. 22, 2012
- Garbage for the entire village and newspapers for the Sorth Side will be collected on Friday, Nov. 23, 2012.
- There will be no leaf collection on Thanksgiving Day, November 22 and Friday, Nov. 23, 2012. Normal collection will resume after.
Residents and businesses are reminded to kindly respect others and do not place refuse on the street for pickup over the holiday weekend.
